One of the most common issues I see from small biz owners is a serious disinterest or discomfort with showing or talking about themselves on their accounts.
Obviously, this isn't a requirement for business ownership, but the benefits to your social account may be worth expanding your comfort zone a little bit. Showing the human behind the account gives you legitimacy that's hard to replicate, and makes it so much easier for your audience to relate to you!
Here's a few ways to show yourself on your account without dancing or spending all day filming complicated reel transitions:
📸 Use still photos of yourself in your posts (branding photos are great but not required)
📸 Film a simple reel (no dancing necessary)
📸 Take a selfie of yourself doing something cool for your biz and use it in your posts or stories
📸 Share a hobby in your stories
These are all some pretty low-effort ways to inject yourself into your account. If you don't tend to show yourself on your social media accounts much, I'd like to encourage you to do so.
Do you hesitate to talk about yourself on your business accounts? What's holding you back?
